Senior Site - Staggered Return in Jan 2022

On our return in January, we have been asked by the government to offer your child a voluntary lateral flow test on-site, before continuing regular testing at home. If you have already provided the school with your consent for your child to be tested, there is no requirement to complete the attached consent form. However, if you haven’t done so previously and would like them to have a test on their return in January, please complete and return the form. Similarly, please also notify the school if you wish to withdraw your consent. We are unable to carry out any testing without consent for pupils under 16.

Please ensure that your child arrives for their test at their designated time below. They will be directed to the leisure centre entrance and then into the testing centre. They will need to wear a mask inside the building. Please can you ask them NOT to enter the school through any other entrance.

If any pupils have tested positive by PCR for COVID-19, they will probably have developed some immunity to the disease. Anyone who has previously received a positive COVID-19 PCR test result should not be re-tested within 90 days of that test, unless they develop any new symptoms of COVID-19.
