RESULTS
Early Years—67% of children met a Good Level of Development (GLD) in 12 assessment areas. 78% of children reached the reading early learning goal, 69% in writing and 77% in maths. Well done to all the children and the staff as a great deal of progress has been recognised this year.
Year 1 phonics—79% pass. This is in line with last year’s national figure . Well done year 1! Scores will be with the end of year report, please note that 31 out of 40 is the pass mark.
Year 6— As Year 6 parents are aware, SATs results have been delayed this year and are now due to be released on the morning of Thursday 16th July. We will endeavour to share your child’s results with you as soon as possible, either on Thursday or Friday this week. Unfortunately, this leaves us with very little time before the end of term to celebrate the children’s achievements in the way we would normally like. However, we are incredibly proud of all our Year 6 pupils and their hard work. We look forward to recognising and celebrating their successes in our first newsletter of the new academic year, which will be available on the school website.
Year 4— multiplication test Well done to year 4 who took their multiplication tables check (MTC) in June. 35% scored a perfect 25 out of 25 and 80% scored 20+. Time tables are definitely a skill that that all children will need moving forward into the year 5 /6 curriculum. Any gaps will be picked up by the year 5 team.
