PRIMARY STAFFING

As you will have read in the Transition Day information, we are saying goodbye to a number of valued members of staff this year. Mrs Babbage and Miss Watts have been part of Alderwood for many years. Sadly, they have decided that the daily commute is no longer sustainable, and moving to schools closer to their homes and families is the right next step for them. Both have been exceptional teachers and highly valued members of our infant team, making a lasting impact on the children and colleagues they have worked alongside. We thank them sincerely for their dedication and wish them every success in the future.

Miss Moore will also be leaving us as she relocates to the north of England this summer. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed during her time at Alderwood. It has been particularly heartening to hear the wonderful feedback from parents, who consistently praise her ability to bring out the very best in every child through her calm, caring and nurturing approach. We wish her all the very best in this exciting new chapter.

Mrs Anslow is also leaving us after many years of supporting children across the infant phase in their learning and development. She has shown great commitment and dedication to the school throughout her time here, and we are sincerely grateful for all she has con tributed. We wish her every success and happiness for the future.

Mrs Mullan will soon be moving to Spain, and we would like to thank her for the significant contribution she has made in supporting our pupils, particularly through her work in our Green Room provision at the junior site. Her care, commitment and support have made a real difference to many children and families.

We also say goodbye to Miss Green, who will be taking up a teaching position in a specialist SEND school from September. We thank her for her hard work and dedication in Year 6 over the past two years and wish her every success in her new role.

Finally, we bid farewell to Mr Cahill, who, after 10 years at Alder wood, is moving on to an Assistant Headteacher position at another school in Aldershot. While he may be leaving Alderwood, we are delighted that he will continue to serve the local community. We thank him for his commitment and contribution to the school, and wish him every success in his new role. We are grateful to each of these colleagues for the positive impact they have made on our school community and know that they will be greatly missed. On behalf of everyone at Alderwood, we wish them all happiness and success in their future endeavours.
