Tuesday 21 April 2026 Parking While we understand it can be difficult parking around the school, we ask that you please show respect to our neighbours by NOT parking in front of their driveways. Most of our neighbours are trying to drop off their own children or get to work just like you so please ensure they have access to their homes at all time.If a dispute arises, we ask that you model for your child our school's core values and speak with kindness and respect. Tuesday 21 April 2026 Fundraising Thank you to all the families that donated to the JustGiving page or gave a cash donation on Friday 20th March, so far we have raised £417 in total for Comic Relief/Red Nose day.

Thursday 27 November 2025 BBC Children in Need Thanks to the generosity of our school community Alderwood primary raised £1,610.20 towards this year's children in Need fundraising campaign. This is a fantastic total! Online donations totalled £652 and cash donations raised £958.20

Sunday 23 November 2025 Paperchain - Primary sites We are going ahead with our paperchain fundraiser again this year. Your child should have brought home information and an envelope containing 10 paperchains that can be bought for £1 each. Please make sure that you write your child's name and class on the back of each paperchain you wish to purchase and return it to school. Once they are back in school we will link them all together to create a giant chain. On a chosen date someone will cut the paper chain in 4 places and whoever's paper chain is cut wins a prize. There will be 4 winners at each site.

Thursday 13 November 2025 Poppy Appeal Thank you to the staff and pupils for your generous contributions to the recent Poppy Appeal. Your support will make a meaningful difference, helping provide lifelong assistance to serving and ex-serving military personnel and their families. The junior site raised £255.99 and the infant site raised £113.89. This makes the overall total £369.88
