Citizenship
Citizenship at GCSE enables students to understand the dynamic and ever-changing landscape of the United Kingdom. Focusing on life in Britain, British political systems, British Law and international events and organisations, students will gain a greater understanding of the world around them as we evaluate them on a local, national and international scale.
Through a mixture of activities, students will interact with new ideas, concepts and viewpoints and will be equipped to evaluate and debate them with scrutiny. Studying Citizenship at GCSE would be the ideal subject for those who want a career in Law, Emergency Services, Armed Forces, Social Work or Education.
